Our Super Bowl Travel Guide
Minnehaha Falls Park
Minnehaha Falls is a worthwhile experience year round, but the freezing temps during the winter turns it into a beautiful ice cave. Hikers can easily access the cave formed by the frozen 53 foot high urban waterfall by foot. The stunning bright blue glowing ice behind the waterfalls will turn multi-color as the light shines through.
You can spend an afternoon along this charming St. Paul street, grabbing lunch at one of the locally owned restaurants or relaxing at the spa. Grand Avenue runs for 30 blocks, made up of beautiful old homes and the campuses of Macalester College and University of St. Thomas.
Skate downtown St. Paul
Skating is available now-Feb 11! It's free for the whole family (if you are a Wells Fargo customer, otherwise it will be $4 for rentals) so a trip to the rink in the middle of downtown St. Paul surrounded with beautiful scenery is a great way to spend a snowy afternoon. Skaters of all ages are invited to experience the unique urban setting of downtown St. Paul for the ultimate winter experience.
The St. Paul Winter Carnival is back with more than four dozen events and new attractions taking place in downtown and the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. The family-friendly events are happening now through Feb 10.
